2018 Ford F-150 unveils its first diesel version

American Automaker Ford revealed a diesel version of its F-series truck. It is happens for the first time in 70 years that ford is coming up with diesel version.

The company unveiled the new features on Sunday, 8 Jan. The 2018 Ford F-150 coming up with improved v-6 and v-8 gas engines. Among other features, f-150 will have the military-grade aluminum alloy body with a steel frame underneath. Pre-collision assist with pedestrian detection technology feature automatically applies breaks to prevent auto and pedestrian accidents.

F-150 is coming up with a 3.0 liter power stroke diesel engine. Ford also expects it to put the same 282 horse-power and 253 pound-feet of torque as the current 3.5-liter V6.

Talking about new Ford the officials sent a release

To make driving easy and safe F-150 will have adaptive cruise control with stop and go functionality.  Moreover, also available for 2018 are 4G LTE Wi-Fi that can connect up to 10 devices. A bumping’ B&O Play stereo system and advanced trailer-tow technology

Manufactured at the Dearborn Truck Plant and the Kansas City Assembly Plant, the vehicle will go on sale during the fall.
