Guilt Canceled By Freeform

Freeform has cancelled the crime drama Guilt after just one season.

The series, Starring Billy Zane, Daisy Head, Emily Tremaine, Kevin Ryan, Cristian Solimeno and Naomi Ryan, the whodunit series was inspired by real-life murder cases such as those involving Amanda Knox, JonBenet Ramsay and Casey Anthony.

The mystery murder series aired this summer for a 10-episode season, and struggled to find the audience, premiering to just under 500,000 viewers and dipping throughout its freshman run. The season wrapped up on Aug 22 with the reveal that Luc murdered molly, after being blackmailed by her jealous secret ex-lover Roz. When Grace discovered the truth, she took out her anger on Roz, beating her to a bloody pulp.

The series hailed from “The Game Plan’s” Kathryn Price and Nichole Millard, and was a co-production of Sea to Sky Entertainment and BV Family Productions. The pilot shot in London and Budapest.
